Let’s face it, nobody likes surprises! As part of our structured implementation process, we like to have a quick chat on the front-end to determine if CartSpan will meet your requirements. This typically takes only 5-10 minutes unless you have complex business requirements that warrant extended discussion. So, please give us a call at the number found at the top of the screen and let’s get rolling.
Following any pre-installation questions/clarification, you must have the following in-place before installation of CartSpan:
1) Your shopping cart should be configured to the point where you have one or more orders available for download. For evaluation purposes, it is recommended that you have all of the features you intend to use, fully-configured for the purpose of evaluating their import behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: Freight, Taxes, Discounts & Coupons, Gift Certificates, Surcharges, and Handling. Please note that some of these transaction types are not available in all carts.
2) You should have your intended accounting system setup with a Chart-of-Accounts established to support all of the expected transactions coming from the cart (i.e., freight, taxes, etc.).
3) When ready, please call for an accounting-specific checklist used to facilitate installation of the trial.
USERS OF OPEN-SOURCE CARTS:
CartSpan is designed to work with the standard implementations of the open-source carts with the exception of some select widely-used extensions for each platform. Support for these community extensions is noted in the description for each supported eCommerce platform.
For integrations involving Unix/Linux/mySQL environments, CartSpan delivers its own PHP scripts. These scripts are encoded with IonCube and require the supporting IonCube Loaders on the web server.
